Kazakhstan delegation to take part in international conference in support of Afghanistan - MFA

Kazakhstan delegation headed by Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Kayrat Sarybay will take part in the international conference in support of Afghanistan. The official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Yerzhan Ashikbayev informed during the briefing on Monday, the agency reports.

Astana. June 10. Kazakhstan Today - Kazakhstan delegation headed by Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Kayrat Sarybay will take part in the international conference in support of Afghanistan. The official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Yerzhan Ashikbayev informed during the briefing on Monday, the agency reports.

"The international conference in Paris in support of Afghanistan will be held on June 12 with participation of Kazakhstan delegation headed by Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Kayrat Sarybay," Y. Ashikbayev informed.

"The participants of the conference from more than 60 countries of the world and about 17 international organizations plan to consider the questions of coordination of international help to Afghanistan for the forthcoming five years' period from the countries-donors." "During the conference the representative of Kazakhstan will make a report to acquaint the participants with the vision and approach of our country on restoration of Afghanistan," Y. Ashikbayev informed.

Kazakhstan government has been realizing the plan of assistance to Afghanistan for 2007 - 2008, providing wide spectrum of assistance in various spheres, and developing a new plan of measures for assistance to Afghanistan for 2009 - 2011.
