Kazakhstan government suggests lowering corporate income tax (CIT) down to 15 - 20 %. The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, informed today during the meeting in the Ministry of Finance.

Astana. July 30. Kazakhstan Today - Kazakhstan government suggests lowering corporate income tax (CIT) down to 15 - 20 %. The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, informed today during the meeting in the Ministry of Finance.

"We suggest lowering CIT down to 15 - 20 %," K. Masimov said.

"We mentioned at the first presentation of the Tax Code that we plan to carry out transition to a social security flat tax rate," he said.

The Prime Minister reminded that Kazakhstan had progressive individual income tax. "Flat income tax has been introduced later and now we introduce social security flat tax rate."

"We offer it at the rate of 11 %," the Prime Minister specified.
