Kazakhstan Today - Kazakhstan insists on acceptance of the Eurasian Pact on Stability of Energy Delivery and development within the limits of the United Nations Global Energy and Ecology Strategy. The Minister for Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Marat Tazhin, informed during the 63rd session of the UN General Assembly in New York on Monday, the agency reports referring to the press service of RK MFA.

"Considering close interrelation of problems of power and ecology, we pay attention to our initiatives put forward by the President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, from this tribune one year ago, about acceptance of the Eurasian Pact on Stability of Energy Delivery and development within the limits of the United Nations of Global Energy and Ecology Strategy," M. Tazhin said.

"Considering importance of energy resources, preservation of global energy balance has become even more important," he explained. The minister emphasized that Kazakhstan "realizes the increasing important role and high responsibility as the reliable supplier of energy carriers."

"Kazakhstan will further realize the strategy of diversification of export of energy routes. The choice will be exclusively defined by reasons of economic feasibility and pragmatism," Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan said.
