Kazakhstan Ministry of Internal Affairs reduced central body by 20 %

Astana. February 18. Kazakhstan Today - Within the limits of carrying out of the administrative reform in 2008 the Interior Ministry of Kazakhstan reduced regular number of staff of the central body by 20 %, the agency reports referring to the press center of public relations department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan.

According to the center, the ministry has increased wages due to reduction of quantity of workers and increase in their qualitative component, owing to which the salary of the employees has on the average grown by 20 - 30 %.

The proposals directed to the working group on carrying out of the administrative reform on optimization of registers of posts of the employees, assuming reduction of some of the posts of the accredited structure executing intermediate functions. The administrative structure has been reduced from 10 up to 6.

As it was informed earlier, for the last three years within the limits of the administrative reform in the Ministry of Internal Affairs the number of deputy ministers has been reduced from six up to three people. The Committees for Criminal, Administrative and Traffic police, the Investigatory Committee have been created, which allowed reducing in the central body quantity of departments from 17 up to 12, independent departments - from nine up to one eliminating duplication of their functions.
