Kazakhstan Parliament, Great Britain ratified agreement on international automobile transportations

Astana. June 21. Kazakhstan Today - Today at the plenary session of the Senate the deputies passed the law on ratification of the agreement between Kazakhstan government and the government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland on international automobile transportations," the agency reports.

As it was informed earlier, the agreement regulates transportation of passengers and cargoes in international automobile communication between two countries and transportations in (from) the third countries by the carriers admitted for performance of such transportations and the vehicles registered on the territory of one of the parties.

The Majilis deputies noted "application of the regulations of the present agreement will create favorable conditions for increase of competitiveness of domestic carriers in the market of international transport services.

The agreement was signed in London on November 26, 2006.

The law has been forwarded to the President of the state.
