Kazakhstan Parliament ratified Agreement with Armenia on mutual travels of citizens

Today at the plenary session the Senate deputies passed the law on ratification of the Agreement between the government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the government of the Republic of Armenia on mutual travels of citizens, the agency reports.

Astana. March 20. Kazakhstan Today - Today at the plenary session the Senate deputies passed the law on ratification of the Agreement between the government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the government of the Republic of Armenia on mutual travels of citizens, the agency reports.

Thus, the law is accepted by the Parliament and is forwarded to the President for his signature.

As it was informed earlier, the agreement establishes the right of the citizens of one the state on the basis of the documents, valid for a trip abroad, to travel, to have a transit trip, to leave and arrive in the territory of the other state without visa within 90 days from the date of crossing the border of the state of entrance.

The agreement defines the list of the travel papers recognized by both states, the order of visa-free entrance-departure, and transit crossing of frontiers.

The agreement was signed in Astana on November 6, 2006.
