The Parliament of Kazakhstan has suggested Russia to create a joint project of the grain terminal in the Far East. Deputy of Majilis of Parliament of Kazakhstan, the chairman of Agrarian Committee Romin Madinov informed during the regional conference - 'Agriculture of the Russian Federation and its Place in World Food Safety', the agency reports citing RIA RosBusinessConsulting.

Almaty. September 7. Kazakhstan Today - The Parliament of Kazakhstan has suggested Russia to create a joint project of the grain terminal in the Far East. Deputy of Majilis of Parliament of Kazakhstan, the chairman of Agrarian Committee Romin Madinov informed during the regional conference - 'Agriculture of the Russian Federation and its Place in World Food Safety', the agency reports citing RIA RosBusinessConsulting.

R. Madinov said that the terminal should have a storage of 200 - 300 thousand tons capacity. Thus, in his opinion, the terminal will be efficient provided the question of railroad rate decrease in the territory of the Russian Federation en route the Far East is resolved. Majilis deputy reminded that Kazakhstan already implemented the grain terminal project in the Baltic.
