Kazakhstan PM held a number of meetings

The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, held a number of meetings, the agency reports referring to the prime minister's press service.

Astana. October 8. Kazakhstan Today - The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, held a number of meetings, the agency reports referring to the prime minister's press service.

According to the press service, the Prime Minister met the General Director of Open Society Mechel, Igor Zyuzin, to discuss the prospects of investment activity of the company in the field of mining and iron and steel industry.

"I. Zyuzin acquainted the Prime Minister with the plans of the company Mechel on development of chromic deposits and construction of the factory of ferroalloys in the territory of the Aktobe oblast," the text states.

K. Masimov approved the initiative of the Russian company and expressed readiness of Kazakhstan for cooperation with investors.

K. Masimov met vice president of the group of companies ICT Nikolay Dobrinov and discussed the civil-engineering design of the factory with foundry shop on manufacture of railway carriages of new generation for freight cars.

"The Prime Minister approved the investment proposal of the Russian company and called for activization of cooperation for the prompt realization of the project," the press service informed.
