Kazakhstan ratified International Convention on Simplification and Harmonization of Customs Procedures

Astana. February 24. Kazakhstan Today - The head of the state, Nursultan Nazarbayev, signed the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan on ratification of the International Convention on Simplification and Harmonization of Customs Procedures, the agency reports citing the president's press service.

The text of the law is published in press.

As informed earlier, the law has been developed to introduce the international standards in the field of customs procedures in conditions of the forthcoming introduction of Kazakhstan to World Trade Organization and maximum assistance to world trade. The convention is the universal international contract of interstate character accepted within the limits of the World Customs Organization.
