Kazakhstan supports participation of the Arabian businessmen in large investment projects in our country. The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Masimov stated during the negotiations with the Minister for President's Affairs of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mansur ben Zayed Al Nahayan on Friday, the agency reports referring to the prime minister's press service.

Astana. April 21. Kazakhstan Today - Kazakhstan supports participation of the Arabian businessmen in large investment projects in our country. The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Masimov stated during the negotiations with the Minister for President's Affairs of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mansur ben Zayed Al Nahayan on Friday, the agency reports referring to the prime minister's press service.

"At the meeting the parties discussed further prospects of cooperation between two countries in view of the arrangements reached during the visits to the United Arab Emirates of the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev in the end of 2007 and the working visit of the Kazakhstan delegation headed by the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Masimov in February, 2008," the press release informs.

The Prime Minister confirmed readiness to support aspiration of businessmen of the United Arab Emirates to invest in large projects in our country and noted with satisfaction signing the memorandum of creation of Kazakhstan-Emirates Business Council between Kazakhstan and the UAE.

The interlocutors ascertained that Kazakhstan and the United Arab Emirates have managed to considerably advance bilateral economic cooperation within a short period of time. K. Masimov expressed gratitude to the leadership of the UAE for assistance rendered to Kazakhstan in realization of the important projects and support of the foreign policy initiatives of Kazakhstan, the document states.

"The work of the Kazakhstan-Emirates Business Council will help to define economic interests and development of business-partnership of two countries," K. Masimov said.
