Kazakhstan to raise social payments despite of slowing down of growth of economy - Nazarbayev

Kazakhstan plans to raise social payments despite of slowing down of paces of growth of the economy.

Zhezkazgan. January 24. Kazakhstan Today - Kazakhstan plans to raise social payments despite of slowing down of paces of growth of the economy. The President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev stated today at the forum of social responsibility of business, the agency reports.

"Despite of some slowing down of rates of growth of the economy, as a whole, we will continue to support stable growth of social payments of the state and will not reduce payments of social benefits to our citizens," N. Nazarbayev said.

"During the reforms in the country the state minimal standards have been established," the President noted. "And every year the state "takes on its shoulders" more and more social obligations. We constantly increase payments in the social sphere and struggle with poverty and unemployment," he emphasized.

"Formation of social responsibility of the state and business is the base condition for steady development of the state," the President concluded.
