Kazakhstan to strengthen dialogue between West and Islamic World

Kazakhstan as the chairman of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in 2010 and the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) in 2011 plans to strengthen dialogue between the West and the Islamic World. The State Secretary of Kazakhstan, Kanat Saudabaev, stated today during the opening ceremony of VIII Eurasian Media Forum, the agency reports.

Kazakhstan Today - Kazakhstan as the chairman of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in 2010 and the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) in 2011 plans to strengthen dialogue between the West and the Islamic World. The State Secretary of Kazakhstan, Kanat Saudabaev, stated today during the opening ceremony of VIII Eurasian Media Forum, the agency reports.

"Kazakhstan as the OSCE chairman in 2010 and the OIC chairman in 2011 plans to use this unique and responsible period to strengthen the dialogue and mutual understanding of Eurasia with the West and the Islamic World. In this context, we welcome a commitment of the President of the United States, Barack Obama, to the dialogue and mutual understanding with the Islamic World," K. Saudabayev said.
