Kazakhstan, Turkey to strengthen inter-parliamentary dialogue

Over 20 Kazakh-Turkish colleges and two universities working in Kazakhstan are the bright example of the mutual trust of relations between Astana and Ankara.

Almaty. September 28. Kazakhstan Today - In the Ak Orda the head of state Nursultan Nazarbayev met with the chairman of the Turkish Grand National Assembly Cemil Cicek. During negotiations the sides discussed issues of cooperation between the two countries and the development of inter-parliamentary relations between Kazakhstan and Turkey.

According to Caspionet, over 20 Kazakh-Turkish colleges and two universities working in Kazakhstan are the bright example of the mutual trust of relations between Astana and Ankara.

"We are brotherly states, which are actively cooperating in the economy and culture and we are constantly organizing meetings of the high level. I would like to particularly note the meeting with the president of Turkey Abdullah G?l and the recent visit of the Prime Minister of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdo?an to Turkey. In order to strengthen our mutual relations, we have created the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States. It is necessary to strengthen ties between Kazakhstan and Turkey at this level," Nursultan Nazarbayev, President of Kazakhstan said.

"It is not my first visit to Kazakhstan and every time when I am coming here, I can see the development of the country and its capital city, Astana. My visit is directed towards the further boost and strengthening of inter-parliamentary ties between the two countries," Cemil Cicek, Chairman of Turkish Grand National Assembly said.
