Kyrgyzstan government to resign after October 21 - PM

The government of Kyrgyzstan will resign after referendum that will be held on October 21, 2007.

Bishkek. October 5. Kazakhstan Today - The government of Kyrgyzstan will resign after referendum that will be held on October 21, 2007. The Prime Minister of the Republic Almazbek Atambayev stated today to journalist, the agency reports.

"After referendum we will resign," the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan said. "When I agreed to hold this post, I did not know, for 10 days or for a week," he added.

As it was informed earlier, A. Atambayev headed the government of Kyrgyzstan in the spring of 2007. He was appointed to the cabinet from irreconcilable opposition. It was expected that A. Atambayev's appointment will reconcile the country leaders to the opposition, but it has not happened.
