Kyrgyzstan may introduce parliamentary form of government

Almaty. April 16. Kazakhstan Today - Kyrgyzstan has been offered parliamentary form of government, the agency reports citing Vesti.Ru.

The project of the new constitution will be published for national discussion on Monday. The amendments will be introduced to four chapters, concerning activity of the president, the parliament, the executive powers and the judicial system. Thus, the base positions of the constitution, concerning the rights and freedoms will remain unchanged.

The state's governing duties will be performed by prime minister. His candidature will be offered by the party, which will receive the majority of votes in the parliament.

The president according to the constitution's project will be given representation functions. The Constitutional Court has been offered to be abolished. Its prerogatives will be transferred to the Supreme Court.

The country parliament will consist of 90 deputies. The party which will receive the majority of votes, will be given 46 places in parliament and it will be able to propose their candidature for the post of prime minister.
