Kyrgyzstan Parliament deputies discuss closing air base Gansi

The deputies of Kyrgyzstan Parliament started discussion of the bill on denouncement of the counter note of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic to the note of the American Embassy of December, 4th, 2001 №542, forming together the Agreement between the government of the Kyrgyz Republic and the government of the United States of America, the agency reports citing the press service of Kyrgyzstan Parliament.

Bishkek. February 19. Kazakhstan Today - The deputies of Kyrgyzstan Parliament started discussion of the bill on denouncement of the counter note of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic to the note of the American Embassy of December, 4th, 2001 №542, forming together the Agreement between the government of the Kyrgyz Republic and the government of the United States of America, the agency reports citing the press service of Kyrgyzstan Parliament.

Earlier, three committees and factions of Parliament considered and passed the bill.

"The USA paid Kyrgyzstan $250 thousand for the plane TU-134 damaged in 2007, however, the Kyrgyz party demanded $5 million," the deputy of Parliament, Begaly Nargozuev, said during the discussion. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan said the American party did not admit its fault, though the conclusions of many expert commissions stated the opposite.

The deputy of the party in power Ak zhol, Beyshenbek Abdyrasakov, expressed concern concerning possible increase of Uzbekistan prices for gas, if military men of the USA relocate to the territory of Uzbekistan.
