Kyrgyzstan Parliament suspended its work

The deputies of Zhogorku Kenesh (Parliament) of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan suspended their work until the referendum, the agency reports.

Bishkek. October 11. Kazakhstan Today - The deputies of Zhogorku Kenesh (Parliament) of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan suspended their work until

the referendum, the agency reports.

The members of the Parliament accepted the corresponding decision at the session of the Parliament on Wednesday. It was scheduled, that elected representatives of the people will consider the new agreement between the government of Kyrgyzstan and the Company Tsenterra Gold Ink, developing gold mining deposit. But the legislators postponed consideration of this question for later term - after the referendum on October 21.

The deputies of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan will resume the sessions on October 22 and until then they will carry out the work with voters in the districts.

Earlier, the deputies of Zhogorku Kenesh planned to interrupt carrying out of the sessions from October 12 untill October 19. Acording to the legislation of Kyrgyzstan, last week each month, except for September and June, is scheduled for meetings of the members of the Parliament with voters in districts.

As it was informed earlier, two questions will be considered at the Kyrgyzstan referendum - new edition of the Constitution and the new Code on Elections.
