Kyrgyzstan provisional government requests world community to block Bakiev's accounts

The provisional government of Kyrgyzstan has requested the world community to find and block Kurmanbek Bakiev's bank accounts, the agency reports citing RIA RosBusinessConsulting (RBC).

According to RBC, it is connected with the fact that $200 million has been withdrawn in the beginning of April, 2010, within two days, through six commercial banks in the country, the radio station Mayak informed.

According to vice chairman of the provisional government, Temir Sariev, according to the preliminary information, this money is in one of the American banks. The situation was already discussed with the US Vice Secretary of State. The provisional government informed that K. Bakiev's supporters can use this money to organize acts of terrorism.

"After revolution in Kyrgyzstan, the criminal case has been instigated against ex-president K. Bakiev on the facts of murders during disorders on April, 7 in Bishkek, and in connection with the facts of power," RBC informs.

K. Bakiev's brothers have been manhunted by the law-enforcement bodies of Kyrgyzstan. The former leader of the country and his supporters have been suspected of corruption, murders of journalists and politicians. More than 200 criminal cases have been instigated .K. Bakiev who left Kyrgyzstan and resigned, does not admit his guilt."
