Majilis approved bill on air service with Poland

The Majilis deputies approved the bill on ratification of the agreement between the government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the government of the Republic of Poland on air communication on Wednesday.

Astana. October 18. Kazakhstan Today - The Majilis deputies approved the bill on ratification of the agreement between the government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the government of the Republic of Poland on air communication on Wednesday.

"The purpose of the agreement is creation of the legal basis for establishment of air communication between the territories of Kazakhstan and Poland," the conclusion of the Majilis committee for international affairs, defense and security states.

According to the regulations of the agreement, "aviation enterprises of the parties when using contractual lines on the agreed routes will have a number of the rights." In particular, it gives the right "to make flight through the territory of the state of the agreement participant without landing, to make landings on the territories of the state of other participant of the agreement with non-commercial objectives, to make landings on the territories of the state of other participant of the agreement in stipulated points with the purpose of boarding and-or unboarding passengers, unloading mail and cargo."

The agreement was signed in Warsaw on November 27, 1997.

The bill has been forwarded to the Senate.
