Majilis approved ratification of agreement on rules of origin of goods from developing and least developed countries

The deputies of Majilis of Parliament of Kazakhstan passed the bill on ratification of the agreement on rules of origin of goods from the developing and least developed countries at the plenary session today, the agency reports.
Astana. February 24. Kazakhstan Today - The deputies of Majilis of Parliament of Kazakhstan passed the bill on ratification of the agreement on rules of origin of goods from the developing and least developed countries at the plenary session today, the agency reports.

The agreement on rules of origin of goods from the developing and least developed countries was signed on December 12, 2008 in Moscow between the Republic of Kazakhstan government, the government of the Russian Federation, and the government of Belorussia.

According to the conclusion of the Majilis Committee for International Affairs, Defense and Security, the agreement is aimed at application in the uniform customs territory of the states of the rules of definition of the country of origin of the goods from the developing and the least developed countries according to the appendix of the agreement.

The list of the developing and least developed countries has been created by the parties of the agreement. The goods are considered from the developing or least developed country according to the following: when it is completely made in such a country or when it is made in such a country with application of raw materials, half-finished products or the materials made in a different country, or the goods of an unknown origin provided that such goods have undergone sufficient processing procedure in this country.
