Astana. May 21. Kazakhstan Today - Majilis plans to consider amendments to the republican budget of 2008 within a week. The decision was accepted today at the plenary Majilis session, the agency reports.
"Finance and Budget Committee is ready to consider the bill on amendments and additions to the acts concerning specification of the republican budget for 2008 and to prepare the conclusion till May 28, 2008," Majilis deputy, member of Finance and Budget Committee Serik Ospanov stated at the plenary session.
As it was informed earlier, on behalf of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Masimov, the bill concerning amendments and additions of the republican budget for 2008 has been brought in the Parliament on May 16.
According to B. Sultanov, the amended expenditures of the republican budget are expected to be approved at the size of 3064.1 billion KZT, or with growth in comparison with the approved budget for 153.1 billion KZT.
The decision has been supported by the Chamber.
