Members of Board of Directors of National Welfare Fund Samruk - Kazyna approved

The members of the Board of Directors of Fund of National Welfare Samruk - Kazyna were approved during the first session of the Board of Directors of JSC Company Fund of National Welfare Samruk - Kazyna under the presidency of the Prime Minister, Karim Masimov, on Friday, the agency reports referring to the fund's press service.

Kazakhstan Today - The members of the Board of Directors of Fund of National Welfare Samruk - Kazyna were approved during the first session of the Board of Directors of JSC Company Fund of National Welfare Samruk - Kazyna under the presidency of the Prime Minister, Karim Masimov, on Friday, the agency reports referring to the fund's press service.

"The members of the Board of Directors have been approved, which included Minister of Economics and Budgetary Planning, Bahyt Sultanov, Industry and Commerce, Vladimir Shkolnik, Finance, Bolat Zhamishev, Energy and Mineral Resources, Sauat Mynbayev, and assistant to President of Kazakhstan on Economic Affairs, Aset Isekeshev," the press service informs.

"Independent Directors, Alexander Mirchev and Richard Evans, who earlier headed Boards of Directors of Kazyna Fund and Samruk Holding, have been appointed."

"Kayrat Kelimbetov, the chairman of the fund, has been appointed chairman of Board of Directors of JSC Company KazMunaiGas and JSC Company Kazakhstan temir zholy. Timur Kulibaev has been recommended for the post of chairman of Board of Directors of JSC Company Kazatomprom," Samruk-Kazyna informed.

As it was informed earlier, Timur Kulibaev and Armand Dunaev have been appointed by the decision of the Board of Directors vice-chairmen of Board of JSC Company Samruk - Kazyna. The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, signed the decree. A. Dunaev since January, 2008 worked as chairman of Board of JSC Company Fund of Steady Development Kazyna." T. Kulibaev is the chairman of the board of KazEnergy.
