Members of Interdepartmental commission on administrative reform discussed project of Budgetary Code

The next session of the Interdepartmental Commission on administrative reform took place under the presidency of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, to discuss the project of the new Budgetary Code, the agency reports referring to the prime minister's press service.

Kazakhstan Today - The next session of the Interdepartmental Commission on administrative reform took place under the presidency of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, to discuss the project of the new Budgetary Code, the agency reports referring to the prime minister's press service.

"The new Budgetary Code has been developed by the government with a view of realization of the Message of the leader of the state to People of Kazakhstan on February 6, 2008 - Increase of well-being of citizens of Kazakhstan - an important objective of the state policy," the press service emphasized.

Its realization is called to provide: precise harmonization of strategic, economic and budgetary planning; orientation of activity of the state bodies to achievement of the strategic goals and objectives and concrete results; introduction of perspective (three-year) budgetary planning and qualitative transition from management of budgetary funds to management of results.

The Budgetary Code will provide adaptation of budgetary process to the new system of the state planning focused on results.

According to the press service, K. Masimov has approved the project of the Budgetary Code and has charged the chairman of the working group, Vice Prime Minister, Erbol Orynbayev, to discuss and finish the project taking into account the proposals on some procedures of three-year planning of the budget.
