Nazarbayev arrived with working visit to Belgium

The President of Kazakhstan began his working visit to Brussels, the President's press service said on Monday. "The Head of the State Nursultan Nazarbayev arrived with the working visit to the Kingdom of Belgium, EU and NATO headquarters," the press service said. As it was informed earlier, during the visit the meetings of the Head of the State with the King of Belgium Albert II, the Prime Minister of Belgium Guy Verhofstadt and the Prime Minister of Luxembourg Jean-Claude Juncker are planned to take place.

"The Head of the State Nursultan Nazarbayev arrived with the working visit to the Kingdom of Belgium, EU and NATO headquarters," the press service said.

As it was informed earlier, during the visit the meetings of the Head of the State with the King of Belgium Albert II, the Prime Minister of Belgium Guy Verhofstadt and the Prime Minister of Luxembourg Jean-Claude Juncker are planned to take place.

N. Nazarbayev will meet the Secretary General of EU Council and EU High representative for the Common Foreign Policy and Security Policy Javier Solana, the Chairman of the Commission of the European Communities Mr. Barosso, the Commissioner for External Relations and European Neighborhood Policy Benita Ferrero-Waldner, the Chairman of EU Parliament Josep Borrel and NATO Secretary General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer.

During the visit a number of documents providing the opportunity of deliveries of Kazakhstan nuclear fuel to EU countries will be signed. "During Nursultan Nazarbayev's visit to Brussels it is planned to sign the agreement on power cooperation between Kazakhstan and EU and the memorandum on peaceful use of atom," the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources of Kazakhstan Bakhtykozha Izmukhambetov said in the interview.
