Nazarbayev assigned ARFC Agency to develop new directions

The head of state, Nursultan Nazarbayev, has assigned the Agency for Regulation of Activities of the Regional Financial Centre in Almaty to develop the new directions of activity of the financial centre and to define the ways of solution of problems, the agency reports citing the president's press service.

Kazakhstan Today - The head of state, Nursultan Nazarbayev, has assigned the Agency for Regulation of Activities of the Regional Financial Centre in Almaty to develop the new directions of activity of the financial centre and to define the ways of solution of the problems, the agency reports citing the president's press service.

According to the press service, N. Nazarbayev met the chairman of the Agency for Regulation of Activities of the Regional Financial Centre, Arken Arystanov. A. Arystanov informed the President of the current activity of the agency: from the moment of formation in 2006, the agency has created the commodity exchange ЕТС (the Eurasian Trading System), the rating agency and the Academy of the Regional Financial Centre in Almaty, commercialized the Kazakhstan stock exchange, and created the necessary standard-legal base aiming at formation of Almaty as the regional financial centre.

"We have the new objectives of further development of the financial centre in the light of the Address of the President 'New Decade - New Economic Growth - New Opportunities of Kazakhstan." In this connection, the head of state assigned the management of the agency to develop the new directions of work of the financial centre and to designate the ways of solution of the problems," A.
