Nazarbayev assigned tasks on realization of Kazakhstan-Iranian arrangements

The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, during the meeting with the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mahmud Ahmadinezhad informed that the head of the state had assigned the tasks concerning realization of the Kazakhstan-Iranian arrangements, the agency reports citing the prime minister's press service.

Astana. April 8. Kazakhstan Today - The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, during the meeting with the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mahmud Ahmadinezhad informed that the head of the state had assigned the tasks concerning realization of the Kazakhstan-Iranian arrangements, the agency reports citing the prime minister's press service.

"The officials discussed further development of trade and economic cooperation and realization of the arrangements reached by the Presidents of Kazakhstan and Iran during yesterday's meeting," the press service informs.

The Prime Minister informed that the President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, assigned the government a number of tasks related to realization of the arrangements.

According to the press service, during the meeting the parties confirmed a common position on the necessity to develop cooperation in the field of transport (realization of projects on construction of railway and automobile ways, increase of water communications between Kazakhstan and Iran), energy, agriculture, and in financial area.
