Nazarbayev confirmed state forced industrially-innovative development program for 2010 - 2014

The President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, signed on March 19, 2010 the decree №958 on the government's forced industrially-innovative development program of Kazakhstan for 2010 - 2014 and confirmed invalidity of some of the president's decrees, the agency reports citing official mass media.

Astana. March 31. Kazakhstan Today - The President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, signed on March 19, 2010 the decree №958 on the government's forced industrially-innovative development program of Kazakhstan for 2010 - 2014 and confirmed invalidity of some of the president's decrees, the agency reports citing official mass media.

"I decree to accept the government's forced industrially-innovative development program of Kazakhstan for 2010 - 2014 to maintain diversification and increase of competitiveness of the economy of Kazakhstan in the long-term period."

He assigned the government of Kazakhstan to develop and confirm in a month term the 'Industrialization Map of Kazakhstan for 2010 - 2014' and the 'scheme of rational accomodation of capacities until 2015; to develop and confirm the government's plan of measures of program realisation in a month period; and present the President's Administration of Kazakhstan of the information on the course of execution of the program until July 20 and on January 20, following the results of half-a-year.

The central and local executive powers, and the state structures accountable to the President of Kazakhstan have been assigned to undertake the measures aimed at realization of the program.

Control over execution of the decree has been assigned to the President's Administration.

The decree will come into force from the date of its signing.
