Nazarbayev gave a number of commissions on development of financial sector of the country

The head of state, Nursultan Nazarbayev, held the meeting devoted to the reports of the National Bank, the Agency for Regulation and Supervision of the Financial Market and Financial Organizations and the Agency for Regulation of the Regional Financial Centre of Almaty for 2009, the agency reports citing the president's press service.

Kazakhstan Today - The head of state, Nursultan Nazarbayev, held the meeting devoted to the reports of the National Bank, the Agency for Regulation and Supervision of the Financial Market and Financial Organizations and the Agency for Regulation of the Regional Financial Centre of Almaty for 2009, the agency reports citing the president's press service.

The chairman of the National Bank, Grigory Marchenko, the chairman of the Agency for Regulation and Supervision of the Financial Market, Elena Bahmutova, the chairman of the board of JSC Fund of National Welfare Samruk-Kazyna, Kayrat Kelimbetov, the chairman of the Agency for Regulation of the Regional Financial Centre of Almaty, Arken Arystanov, made reports during the meeting.

According to the President of Kazakhstan, large volume of work has been done. As of today, the most part of the funds allocated from the National Fund to support the priority sectors of the economy within the anti-crisis program has been used. The financial system has been stabilized.

"We have decreased inflation and unemployment rates. The most important thing - we have kept growth of our economy," the President underlined.

"Following the results of the meeting, the head of state positively estimated the results of the work of the monetary and financial agencies for the last year and gave a number of commissions on further development of the financial sector of the country and realization of the monetary and credit policy."
