Nazarbayev left for Turkey

The head of state, Nursultan Nazarbayev, left for an official visit to Turkey, the agency reports citing the president's press service.

Astana. October 20. Kazakhstan Today - The head of state, Nursultan Nazarbayev, left for an official visit to Turkey, the agency reports citing the president's press service.

According to the press service, "today, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, left for an official visit to the Turkish Republic."

As informed earlier, N. Nazarbayev will pay an official visit to Turkey on October 21 - 24. "During the visit, the officials are expected to sign some bilateral documents in political, trade and economic and scientifically-technological spheres. Kazakhstan-Turkish business forum with participation of the business circles of two countries is planned to be held," the press service of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan informed.

During the visit, the President of Kazakhstan, N. Nazarbayev will have meetings with the President of the Turkish Republic, Abdullah Gul, with the Prime Minister of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the chairman of the Parliament of Turkey, Mehmet Ali Shahin, and the heads of the main political parties and public organizations of Turkey.

"During the visit, the head of state plans to visit TURKSOI headquartes (international organization for the development of Turkic culture) in Ankara. N. Nazarbayev will also meet the ninth President of Turkey, Suleyman Demirel."
