Astana. April 24. Kazakhstan Today - The head of the state, Nursultan Nazarbayev, noted slow rate of development of the funds allocated for support to small and medium business in Astana. The leader of the state stated during the meeting concerning development of Astana on Thursday, the agency reports citing the president's press service.

N. Nazarbayev said that the resources allocated for development of small and medium business within the limits of the anti-recessionary program are being used slowly in Astana. The allocated credits total 4.3 billion KZT. This is only about 19 % of total amount provided for these purposes for the capital by the National fund. For comparison: 300 billion KZT has been allocated for crediting of business for the last three years in Astana. All in all, only a little more than 1 % out of 120 billion KZT has been used from the allocated funds within the limits of the anti-recessionary program.

In this connection, the head of the state assigned Vice Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Umirzak Shukeev, to correct this situation.
