Nazarbayev sent greeting to participants of international conference devoted to 30 anniversary of Almaty Declaration on primary medico sanitary help

The leader of the state, Nursultan Nazarbayev, sent a greeting to the participants of the International conference devoted to 30 anniversary of Almaty Declaration WHO/UNICEF on primary medico sanitary help taking place in Almaty, the agency reports referring to the president's press service.

Kazakhstan Today - The leader of the state, Nursultan Nazarbayev, sent a greeting to the participants of the International conference devoted to 30 anniversary of Almaty Declaration WHO/UNICEF on primary medico sanitary help taking place in Almaty, the agency reports referring to the president's press service.

According to the press service, the State Secretary of Kazakhstan, Kanat Saudabayev, read the greeting of the President.

"Almaty Declaration on primary medico sanitary help was accepted thirty years ago. For the first time in history health of people has been one of the important global goals of the mankind.

In his speech, the State Secretary noted that in cooperation with WHO and UNICEF Kazakhstan has consistently realized the principles of the Almaty Declaration.

"The questions of decrease of infant mortality rate, improvement of protection of motherhood, struggle with HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis are priority directions of social policy of our country. Kazakhstan has created a complete, system model of formation of healthy way of life, owing to which the level of disease of the population has decreased. Kazakhstan citizens have now responsibility for preservation of their own health," the State Secretary noted.
