Nazarbayev signed amendments to Law on Status and Social Protection of Military Men

The leader of the state, Nursultan Nazarbayev, signed the law on amendments and additions to the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the Status and Social Protection of Military Men and the Members of their Families, the agency reports citing the president's press service.

Kazakhstan Today - The leader of the state, Nursultan Nazarbayev, signed the law on amendments and additions to the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the Status and Social Protection of Military Men and the Members of their Families, the agency reports citing the president's press service.

According to the press service, N. Nazarbayev signed the law on amendments and additions to the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the Status and Social Protection of Military Men and the Members of their Families, directed at strengthening of the social status of contract military men and increase of prestige of contract military service.

The text of the law is published in press.

As informed earlier, "the law guarantees payment of monetary compensation at the conclusion of the first contract by a military man hired for a contract military service for the post of a soldier, a sailor, a sergeant and a foreman, depending on the term of the concluded contract," Vice Minister of Defense, Bolat Zhanasaev said.
