Nazarbayev signed decree on state planning system in Kazakhstan

The President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, signed on June 18, 2009 the decree №827 on state planning system in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the agency reports citing the official mass media.

Astana. June 23. Kazakhstan Today - The President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, signed on June 18, 2009 the decree №827 on state planning system in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the agency reports citing the official mass media.

"The decree gives legal basis to the basic approaches of the new result-based state planning system being introduced now, the comment to the decree, published in the official press on June 23 explains. The decree establishes main principles and mechanisms of functioning of the system of state planning in Kazakhstan."

"The decree defines the system of state planning - complex of the interconnected elements consisting of principles, documents, processes and participants of state planning, contributing to development of the country for the long-term and intermediate term periods" the comment states.

The decree defined the following kinds of documents of the system of state planning: development strategy of Kazakhstan until 2030; strategic development plan of Kazakhstan for 10 years, the forecast scheme of territorial/spatial development of the country; government programs for 5 - 10 years; the forecast of social and economic development for 5 years; the development programs of the territories for 5 years; strategic plans of state structures for 5 years; development strategy for 10 years and development plans for 5 years of national holdings, national holdings, the national companies with participation of the state in authorized capital stock; industry programs; and the republican (local) budget for 3 years.
