Nazarbayev to take part in work of World Economic Forum on Middle East in Egypt

The President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev will take part in the work of the World Economic Forum on the Middle East in the Egyptian city Sharm El Sheikh. The press secretary of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Ilyas Omarov informed at the briefing on Saturday, the agency reports.

Astana. May 19. Kazakhstan Today - The President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev will take part in the work of the World Economic Forum on the Middle East in the Egyptian city Sharm El Sheikh. The press secretary of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Ilyas Omarov informed at the briefing on Saturday, the agency reports.

As it was informed earlier, the Economic Forum in Egypt will be held on May 18-20.

According to I. Omarov, during the program of the forum the official evening on behalf of Kazakhstan where the leader of the country will make speech. The program of the forum includes special session devoted to Kazakhstan Eye on Kazakhstan on May 19.

During the forum the President of Kazakhstan plans to hold a number of bilateral meetings. During the forum the participants will discuss and exchange of opinions on the most actual political issues of the present such as globalization, mutual relations between Muslim world and the West, and the process of Middle-Eastern peace settlement.

The economic block of the forum will include the questions of energy safety, transport and communications, ecology, and new tendencies of distribution of world stream of investments.

The social block of the forum will include the questions concerning prospects of development in education, public health services and strengthening of religious dialogue.

World Economic Forum on the Middle East was founded within the limits of Davos World Economic Forum with the purpose of drawing direct attention to important for world economy region of the Middle East.
