Kyzylorda. May 12. Kazakhstan Today - The President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev visited regional medical center on Sunday, the agency reports.

The center was built by the Bulgarian specialists. It began its work in 2001. Today it is the largest medical complex that annually helps 28 thousand patients. 24 specialized clinical departments and 14 auxiliary departments and wards function here. Modern equipment, apparatus and tools of Russian, German, Japanese, USA and Bulgarian made have been purchased. In 2004 the center received medical equipment for the amount of $3.8 million within the framework of Japanese grant.

The project of telemedicine and electronic mapping was presented to the leader of the state. According to the leader of the project Almas Sharmanov, the peculiarity of development of telemedicine in Kyzylorda oblast is that it plans to cover all seven regions of the oblasts of Kazakhstan. There will be a direct access of medical establishments of the regions and oblasts to the academic centers in Astana, Almaty and abroad.

N. Nazarbayev familiarized with the course of realization of the program - 100 schools, 100 hospitals and construction of social objects in the region. As the chairman of the regional construction department Serzhan Nametsha informed, this year design estimates of construction of 5 medical objects is planned to be developed.

City out-patients' clinic, regional children's hospital, city hospital and regional out-patients' clinic There will be constructed in the settlement Zhosaly of Karmakshi region.

According to the chairman of Education Department Meyrambek Shermagambet, 7 large schools will be constructed: in Aralsk, in kent Ayteke bi of Kazali region, in the settlements of Zhosaly, Zhalagash, Shieli, in aul Kyzylzharma, and the schools for 1248 places in the new micro region SyrDarya in Kyzylorda.
