Nazarbayev visited new squares and monuments constructed for 10 anniversary of capital

Nursultan Nazarbayev visited new squares and monuments on Friday constructed for the 10th anniversary of the capital at support of the regional akimats, the agency reports.

Astana. July 8. Kazakhstan Today - Nursultan Nazarbayev visited new squares and monuments on Friday constructed for the 10th anniversary of the capital at support of the regional akimats, the agency reports.

The leader of the state visited the monument to the Hero of Soviet Union, to an outstanding commander, the founder of Kazakh military prose writer Bauyrzhan Momyshuly. The authors of the monument are Zhambyl sculptor Temirhan Kolzhigit and architect Bahytzhan Syzdykov.

The other monument visited by the President was the monument to akyn Zhambyl Zhabayev. It has been presented to Astana on behalf of Almaty oblast. The authors of the project are sculptor Nurlan Dalbayev and the architect Kazbek Zharylgapov. The height of the monument with a pedestal makes 12 meters. The sculpture is made of bronze.

The President visited a memorial complex to the Hero of Soviet Union Aliya Moldagulova, reconstructed at support of akimat of Aktobe oblast. The complex consists of two fountains, six curbstones for luminaries tiled with red granite, a flower garden and the sculpture. A. Moldagulov's sculpture height is of 3.8 meters made of bronze. Its author is the member of the Union of Artists Bahytzhan Abishev.

One more object that N. Nazarbayev visited was the monument Eurasia located on the same square on crossing of prospectus Saryarka and Kenesary, reconstructed by the Western Kazakhstan oblast. "The idea of the concept of the square is the original Eurasian bridge uniting two continents - Europe and Asia," the press release states.
