Nur Otan Party accepted program on struggle against corruption

Today during the session of the Political Council the National Democratic Party Nur Otan approved the program on struggle against corruption, the agency reports.

Astana. February 28. Kazakhstan Today - Today during the session of the Political Council the National Democratic Party Nur Otan approved the program on struggle against corruption, the agency reports.

"The program contains specific, clear and long-term measures expected by our citizens allowing bringing struggle against corruption on a qualitatively new level and, first of all, providing inevitability of punishment for each fact of corruption to instill into the citizens firm confidence that the state is capable of protecting their rights and interests and achieving the principle of equality of all to the law," the member of the Political Council of the party, Majilis deputy Serik Baymagambetov noted.

The program includes complex of measures, which should provide transparency of activity of the state bodies and decisions accepted by them. " One of the elements of maintenance of such approach is the necessity of strengthening of public control. In this question, the huge role is allocated to public bodies and public councils on struggle against corruption that were created and are working in all the regions of the country," S. Baymagambetov said.

Thus, he emphasized that "the project of the program corresponds to the Constitution and the Laws of Kazakhstan, and does not contain the measures, entailing illegal intervention in the work of the state bodies, especially law-enforcement and judicial bodies."
