Parliament creates conciliatory commission on tourism bill

The Parliament creates conciliatory commission on the bill on amendments and additions to tourism acts. The decision was accepted today at the plenary Majilis session, the agency reports.

Astana. April 30. Kazakhstan Today - The Parliament creates conciliatory commission on the bill on amendments and additions to tourism acts. The decision was accepted today at the plenary Majilis session, the agency reports.

"The committee does not agree with the amendments and additions introduced by the Senate, on 26 positions. In this connection, we suggest creating conciliatory commission, Majilis deputy Beken Alimzhanov said.

As it was informed earlier, the bill is directed at further development and improvement of tourism as one of priority directions of Kazakhstan economy.

The amendments are introduced to five acts: Code of Administrative Offences, the Law on Tourism, on Compulsory Insurance of Civil-Legal Responsibility of a Tour Operator and a Travel Agent, on Private Business, and on Licensing.

The clause is introduced to Code of Administrative Offences providing administrative responsibility for infringement of Kazakhstan legislation on tourism.

The amendments to the law on tourism differentiate powers between the government, authorized bodies and local agencies.

The amendments are introduced to the Law on Licensing regarding order of issue of licenses for tourism activity in the sphere of international and domestic tourism.

Adoption of the bill will allow realization of such important goals as further development of tourist cluster in the regions, realization of the important projects, formation of attractive tourist image, maintenance of new approaches in tourism, and realization of the state programs on development of tourism branch.
