Parliament passed amendments to Baikonur status agreement between Kazakhstan and Russia

The deputies of the Senate of Parliament of Kazakhstan at the plenary session today passed the law on ratification of the protocol on the amendments and additions to the Baikonur status agreement between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation, order of formation and the status of its eexecutive authorities of December 23, 1995, the agency reports.

Kazakhstan Today - The deputies of the Senate of Parliament of Kazakhstan at the plenary session today passed the law on ratification of the protocol on the amendments and additions to the Baikonur status agreement between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation, order of formation and the status of its eexecutive authorities of December 23, 1995, the agency reports.

As informed earlier, the protocol was signed in Astana on May 21, 2009. The purpose of the protocol is settlement of the state regulation of bank activities and legal agencies of Kazakhstan carrying out banking operations in the territory of Baikonur city.
