Parliament passed Law on State Statistics

Today at the plenary session, Majilis of Parliament deputies agreed with the amendments brought by the Senate to the bill of the Republic of Kazakhstan on state statistics, the agency reports.

Astana. February 17. Kazakhstan Today - Today at the plenary session, Majilis of Parliament deputies agreed with the amendments brought by the Senate to the bill of the Republic of Kazakhstan on state statistics, the agency reports.

Thus, according to the regulations, the law is considered accepted by the Parliament and is forwarded to the head of state to be signed into law.

According to the conclusion of the Senate Committee for Economic Reform and Regional Development, the main objective of the law is decrease of the load on respondents and increase of the level of trust of users of statistical information due to enhance of transparency of statistical activity, effective distribution of the rights and duties of the state structures, respondents and users of the state statistics, and also maintenance of confidentiality of the primary statistical data provided by the respondents.
