Parliament ratified agreement between Kazakhstan, Georgian governments on international automobile communication

Astana. November 15. Kazakhstan Today - Today at the plenary session the senate deputies passed the law on ratification of the agreement between the government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the government of Georgia on international automobile communication," the agency reports.

As it was informed earlier, the purpose of the agreement is creation of the legal basis for further development of cooperation in the field of international automobile communication and simplification of realization of automobile transportation between Kazakhstan and Georgia. The agreement regulates transportation of passengers and cargoes in international automobile communication between Kazakhstan and Georgia, transit through their territories, and also transportations in (from) the third countries carriers admitted for realization of such transportations.

The regulations of the agreement provide introduction of free systems of the international auto transportations of cargoes in a two-way communication, transit travel on the territories of the states of the parties - participants of the agreement, and transportation in (from) the third countries.

The agreement was signed in Astana on March 6, 2007.

The law has been forwarded to the President for his signature.
