Parliament ratified convention between Kazakhstan and Armenia on avoidance of double taxation

The deputies of the Senate of Parliament of Kazakhstan at the plenary session passed the law of Kazakhstan on ratification of the convention between the government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Armenia on avoidance of double taxation and the prevention of fiscal evasion with respect to taxes on income and capital and its protocol, the agency reports.

Astana. November 25. Kazakhstan Today - The deputies of the Senate of Parliament of Kazakhstan at the plenary session passed the law of Kazakhstan on ratification of the convention between the government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Armenia on avoidance of double taxation and the prevention of fiscal evasion with respect to taxes on income and capital and its protocol, the agency reports.

According to the conclusion of the Senate Committee for Finance and Budget, the convention and its protocol were signed in Astana on November, 6th, 2006. The convention's purpose is strengthening and expansion of economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and Armenia by creation of favorable conditions for realization of activities of both Armenian investors in Kazakhstan and the Kazakhstan enterprises in the markets of Armenia.
