Parliament ratified Kazakhstan, Poland consular convention

Astana. June 23. Kazakhstan Today - Today at the plenary Senate session deputies adopted the law "On ratification of the consular convention between Republic Kazakhstan and Republic Poland," the agency reports.

As it was informed earlier, the convention is directed at settlement of issues regarding functioning of consular establishments of Kazakhstan and Poland.
The document stipulations provide that the state of stay renders assistance to consular establishment and takes necessary measures to ensure consular establishment staff could carry out official functions and have the rights, privileges and immunities stipulated by the convention.

The convention was signed on November 27, 1997.

The law has been forwarded for the President’s ratification.
