Parliament to consider government republican budget report

Parliament plans to consider the government report regarding execution of the republican budget of June 27, 2007. The leader of Majilis working group, Deputy Nurtay Sabilyanov informed during presentation of the report on Tuesday, the agency reports.

Astana. May 21. Kazakhstan Today - Parliament plans to consider the government report regarding execution of the republican budget of June 27, 2007. The leader of Majilis working group, Deputy Nurtay Sabilyanov informed during presentation of the report on Tuesday, the agency reports.

According to N. Sabilyanov, the report will be brought for the consideration of the Majilis plenary session on June 11 and on June 27 the joint meeting of the Parliament Houses will consider the document.

According to the Constitution, the Parliament accepts the government republican budget report at the joint meeting. Disapproval of the report means vote of no confidence to the government by the Parliament.

As it was informed earlier, more than 26 billion KZT of budget resources was not used last year.

"The expenditures of the republican budget in 2007 without taking into account redemption of loans made 2.48 trillion KZT, or 98.9% of the plan for a year. Over 26 billion KZT was not used, B. Zhamishev informed. More than 12 billion KZT of unused resources were special transfers.

He informed that profit plan of the republican budget was executed by one hundred percent. According to the ministry, actual income of profits in the republican budget in 2007 made 2.22 trillion KZT.

The minister informed, "in relation to GDP level of taxes receipt in the budget for 11 months of 2007 was 26.3%." "We expect that in 2008 it will reach 28% of GDP, in 2009 - 29% and in 2010 - 30%," B. Zhamishev emphasized.
