PM, EBRD chairman discussed prospects of cooperation

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Karim Masimov discussed prospects of cooperation of the Republic with the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) chairman, the agency reports referring to the government's press service.

Astana. December 11. Kazakhstan Today - The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Karim Masimov discussed prospects of cooperation of the Republic with the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) chairman, the agency reports referring to the government's press service.

According to the press service, on Friday K. Masimov held the meeting with the EBRD delegation headed by its president Jean Lemer.

"The interlocutors discussed prospects of cooperation between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the EBRD in the sphere of realization of infrastructural projects, developments of small and medium enterprises and processing of agricultural production," the message of the press service widespread on Friday states.

The Prime Minister acquainted J. Lemer with the administrative reform conducted by Kazakhstan called to raise efficiency of the government and quality of services provided by the state.

Jean Lemer noted that "we have developed cooperation in energy, electric power industry, there is full mutual understanding in development of small and medium enterprises, corporate sector, as well as economy diversification."
