President assigned to render help to people left homeless as a result of flooding in Alatau area

The President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, has assigned to render the immediate help to the people left homeless as a result of the flooding in Alatau area of Almaty, the agency reports citing the president's press service.

Astana. June 4. Kazakhstan Today - The President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, has assigned to render the immediate help to the people left homeless as a result of the flooding in Alatau area of Almaty, the agency reports citing the president's press service.

According to the press service, the head of the state met Almaty akim, Ahmetzhan Esimov. Almaty akim informed N. Nazarbayev of the state of affairs in the microdistrict Shanyrak where dozens of houses have been recently flooded.

"A. Esimov informed that akimat defined the territory that will be given to the suffered from the flooding people. The houses are planned to be constructed there, which will be sold to the inhabitants at a minimum price," the press service informs.
