President charged Ministry of Communications to take development of information space under special control

According to the press service, A. Zhumagaliev informed the President of the course of realization of the measures to increase competitiveness of domestic mass media and development of the Kazakhstan Internet resources.

The meeting participants also discussed the questions of introduction of digital TV in Kazakhstan. Its first stage is planned to be launched until the end of 2010.

The press service informed that N. Nazarbayev met the chairman of the Constitutional Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Igor Rogov, who informed him of the course of preparation for the celebrations of the 15th anniversary of acceptance of the Kazakhstan Constitution. "The international scientifically-practical conference - The Constitution as the Basis of Democratic Development of the Country - will be the main event of the celebrations on August 30, 2010. "More than 30 foreign representatives confirmed their participation in the conference. Among them are the chairmen of the constitutional courts, the heads of other agencies of constitutional control, and the representatives of the parliaments of foreign countries.
