N. Nazarbayev expressed satisfaction with the results of the visit at the briefing and said that all the planned goals have been reached. He emphasized that the Asian direction is priority of the Kazakhstan foreign policy.

"Our negotiations with the officials and the representatives of the large Indian companies demonstrate that we have a good partner," the head of the state said.

According to the press service, N. Nazarbayev's state visit to the Republic of India came to an end and the leader of the state left home.

Nazarbayev took part in the celebrations taken place in Delhi on the occasion of the national holiday of India - the Day of the Republic. India has celebrated this holiday for the 60th time. The President of Kazakhstan became the twelfth leader of the foreign state who had the honor to be the main guest in the celebrations. Artillery salute of 21 guns was fired in his honor.

The Presidents of Kazakhstan and India held the meeting in the second half of the day, where the leaders of the states once again confirmed their mutual intentions to increase strategic partnership between two countries in economic, political and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
