The President of Kazakhstan suggested undertaking efforts to resolve the conflict between Georgia and South Ossetia, the agency reports referring to NEWSru.

Almaty. August 8. Kazakhstan Today - The President of Kazakhstan suggested undertaking efforts to resolve the conflict between Georgia and South Ossetia, the agency reports referring to NEWSru.

According to the Internet-resource, at the meeting with the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, in China "the President of Kazakhstan agreed with Putin's opinion that CIS countries need to state their opinion on the military actions and to undertake efforts on its cessation."

N. Nazarbayev stated that "Georgian leadership has acted incorrectly, not having informed on undertaken aggressive actions in South Ossetia."

The Russian Prime Minister said that the CIS countries should undertake efforts for cessation of those operations from Georgia. Aggressive actions of Georgia in South Ossetia will provoke retaliatory measures.
