President of Kazakhstan suggests Turkic-speaking countries uniting efforts in development of alternative energy

The President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, during the ninth summit of the leaders of the Turkic-speaking states in the Azerbaijan city of Nakhichevan on Friday, proposed to unite efforts towards development of alternative energy, the agency reports citing official mass media.

Almaty. October 5. Kazakhstan Today - The President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, during the ninth summit of the leaders of the Turkic-speaking states in the Azerbaijan city of Nakhichevan on Friday, proposed to unite efforts towards development of alternative energy, the agency reports citing official mass media.

"Even the competitive and developed states consider their long-term economic policy taking into account the transition to natural energy. This issue is also actual for Turkic-speaking states and it is one of the elements of the state policy in the field of sustainable development. We need to unite our efforts in application of the alternative resources and development of alternative power," N. Nazarbayev said.
